Be aware of these deadlines for your gift to be credited in the 2015 calendar year:
If making a gift by check, your donation must be postmarked by and dated no later than December 31 and received by Friday, January 8. Mail your donation to The Rotary Foundation, 14280 Collections Center Dr., Chicago, IL 60693. (Note that contributions postmarked after December 31 or received after January 9 will be considered January 2016 gifts. Please do not submit any gifts intended for January 2016 until January 10!)
If making a gift by credit card, visit My Rotary by December 31. Your gift must be authorized before midnight to be credited to the 2015 tax year. If you (or your club) wishes to make multiple gifts using a Multiple Donor Form, it must be received by 5 p.m. on December 31. You may fax your form to 847-328-5260. This is also a great time to commit to giving through Rotary Direct. Enrolling online is the easiest and most secure way to support Rotary with a recurring gift. Rotary members and friends can set up Rotary Direct accounts by clicking on the Give button from any part of Rotary’s website, then choosing how to direct their donations. For a recurring gift, in Step 2 of the donation process, under Frequency, choose a monthly, quarterly, or annual gift.
As of December 28, 48 of 63 clubs in our district have contributed to the Annual Fund for a participation rate of 76%. That’s a great achievement and amounts to nearly $91,000!. Will you be one of the donors to move us over the $100,000 mark? Be a Gift to the World and make your year-end gift now!
